I LOVE READING – Story Time Events come to Public Libraries with the Partnership for Children of the Foothills

January 28, 2022 (Forest City, NC) – Throughout February, Partnership for Children of the Foothills will partner with area local libraries to foster a deeper love of reading, inspire imagination and encourage parents on the importance of how reading aloud just 15 minutes a day can make a monumental difference in their children’s lives.

Story time events will include read aloud stories with a Valentine’s Day theme, interactive activities from the staff at the library and a giveaway heart-themed gift.

Our I LOVE READING events are below:

  • McDowell County – Virtual story time – make and take bags available the week of February 14 at both branches
  • Rutherford County – Story time at Mooneyham Public Library on February 10 at 10 a.m.
  • Polk County – Story times at Saluda on February 15 at 10:30 a.m. and at Columbus branch on February 16 at 10:30 a.m.

We hope to see you at one of the events!
