Partner to Provide Free, Interactive Reading Event – SNOW FUN WITHOUT YOU
November 23, 2021 (Forest City, NC) – December brings cool weather, holidays, gifts and snowy days perfect for hot cocoa and reading. We are celebrating the season with a free, fun and interactive event at Kidsenses Museum on Friday, December 3rd from 3-5 p.m.
“It is always an honor to collaborate with Partnership for Children of the Foothills and bring the joy of reading to families in our community,” said Mandi Williams, Deputy Director of KidSenses Children’s INTERACTIVE Museum. “Nothing brings families together quite like a playdate at KidSenses or snuggling up with a good book.”
Partnership Outreach Coordinator Desiree Magnant will read snowy day-themed stories and offer activities and crafts at three stations between 3-5 p.m. Participants who sign in will also receive a free gift bag filled with activities to take home.
In addition, the Partnership will have an information table featuring Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, which it administers in McDowell, Polk and Rutherford counties. Parents may enroll their child, birth to age five, in the program to receive a free monthly, age-appropriate book from the Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library.
